What this status means
4PX has sent your parcel on from its distribution center in the destination country. The parcel has already arrived in the country and, in most cases, cleared customs just before this step. It is now back on the road, moving into the local postal or delivery network that will take it to your area.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is a sign of progress. It usually follows customs clearance, which is often the slowest part of an international journey. The next scan may take longer than the previous steps, because the parcel is being handed to a different carrier.
What happens next
- Most often, in about three cases out of five, the next update reads "In transit, it's progressing through post network".
- In about one third of cases it reads "progressing through delivery network".
- Less often you will see an arrival at a sorting center or a handover to a last-mile carrier.
After that, the local carrier takes over, and its scans may use different wording.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking the tracking history. Updates may come from the local carrier rather than 4PX.
- If the status does not change for longer than usual, contact the seller first, then 4PX.
- Have your tracking number and order details ready when you do.
- Make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct, so the final carrier can reach you.
