4PX has finished handling your parcel at one of its own facilities and sent it on to a service provider. That provider is a partner company, such as an airline handler, a postal service or a linehaul carrier, which takes over the next leg. The parcel is now moving between 4PX's facility and that partner, still early in its journey, usually near the point of origin.
No. This message by itself is normal. It usually appears right after the parcel has been received and measured at the facility, and it is a routine step in the handoff to a partner. It is not an exception or a sign of a problem.
Most often the next update is "Hand over to airline", which happens in more than half of cases. Other common follow-ups are a postal service confirming it has collected the parcel, a "Processing at sorting center" scan, or "Pending transportation". Updates may come in another language when a local postal service takes over.
