What this status means
The parcel has been loaded onto a flight and has left the airport in the country where it was shipped from. For Aliexpress Standard Shipping this comes after export customs clearance. It is the start of the international air leg, so the parcel is in transit or in the air. The same message is sometimes logged more than once, for example when a parcel goes through more than one departure airport or the flight is updated.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is not an exception. Seeing it twice in a row is common and usually just a repeated scan. A delay would only be a concern if the tracking stays on this line for longer than the previous steps took.
What happens next
Most often the same message appears again. Otherwise, in about four in ten cases the next update is "ARRIVED AT DESTINATION AIRPORT", meaning the parcel has landed in the destination country. In some cases the next line is "IMPORT CUSTOMS CLEARED", which means the arrival scan was skipped. After that, the parcel goes through import customs and is handed to the local postal service for delivery.
