What this status means

"Out for delivery" means your parcel has reached the last stage of its journey. It has arrived in your country and been handed to the local delivery company. It has left their depot and is with a courier or at a local drop-off point. The line is usually added after a scan such as "Received by local delivery company" or "Arrived at local delivery center".

Is my package delayed?

No. On its own this message is normal and is a good sign. Most parcels at this step end in a delivery or a pickup notice. Only a small share, about one in twenty, are followed by a failed delivery attempt. Even then the parcel is usually not lost.

What happens next

  • About half the time, the next update is a signed or delivered confirmation.
  • In about four cases out of ten, the parcel goes to a pickup point and you see "Awaiting for you to pick-up".
  • Occasionally the delivery fails, for example because nobody was available or the address could not be found. A new attempt or a pickup notice normally follows.

What you can do

  • Keep your phone and doorbell within reach, and check that your address and phone number in the order are correct.
  • Wait for the next update. If it says the parcel is at a pickup point, collect it with ID and your tracking number.
  • If the status stays on "Out for delivery" longer than usual with no update, contact the local delivery company.
  • If the parcel is not delivered after a failed attempt or the tracking stops, contact the seller through the marketplace. Have your order number and tracking number ready.
