What this status means
"Last-mile delivery forecast" is an informational update from Aliexpress Standard Shipping. It appears right after the parcel leaves a sorting center in China and is a projection of how the final delivery leg will be handled. It is not a scan at a delivery depot. Your parcel is still moving through the international part of the journey and has not reached your local carrier.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is not an exception. It usually comes between a sorting-center departure and the next transport step, so it does not point to a problem. A delay is only likely if the tracking stops changing for longer than usual after this line.
What happens next
- Most often (about two thirds of cases), "Arrived at departure transport hub": the parcel reaches the hub where it is prepared for export.
- In about one in ten cases, "Hand over for line-haul transportation": it is passed to a long-distance carrier.
- Less often, "Received by local delivery company", or a postal acceptance scan in the departure or destination country.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking. This step needs no action from you.
- If the tracking does not change for longer than the previous steps took, contact the seller through the marketplace and ask them to query the shipment.
- Have your tracking number and order details ready when you write.
- Check that your delivery address and phone number in the order are correct, as the local carrier will need them later.
