What this status means
4PX Express has scanned your parcel in at a facility with the code "ord01". This is an internal facility code, not a street address. It appears after the parcel has been handed on from an earlier carrier or moved through the post network, so the parcel is now physically inside a sorting or handling site on its way towards you. The scan confirms the facility has taken it in.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is not an exception. It is a routine arrival scan. Only if the tracking stays on this line for longer than the previous steps did would it be worth a closer look.
What happens next
The next scan is usually one of two things, about equally often:
- "Parcel received by local facility", meaning the parcel has reached a site closer to its destination.
- "Parcel departed from facility", meaning it has left this site and is travelling onwards.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking. Updates can lag behind the parcel's real position.
- If the status does not change for longer than usual, contact the seller first, as they hold the shipping contract with 4PX.
- When you write to the seller or 4PX, have your tracking number and order details ready.
