What this status means

4PX Express has scanned your parcel into a transit center. This is a sorting facility inside the destination country. In most cases the parcel got here after customs clearance or after landing at the destination airport. It is now being sorted for the next leg of its journey.

Is my package delayed?

No, this message by itself is normal. It is a routine scan that most parcels pass through. A problem is only likely if the parcel stays at this step for longer than the previous steps took, or if a customs hold appears afterwards. That is rare.

What happens next

Most often, in about three quarters of cases, the next update is "Parcel outbound from transit center". That means the parcel has left the facility. Less often you will see another customs clearance entry or a general "in transit" update. Sometimes the parcel is handed to a partner carrier for the final delivery.

What you can do

Wait and check the tracking again later. The parcel is moving through normal sorting.
If the status does not change for longer than usual, contact 4PX or the seller.
Have your tracking number and order details ready when you do.
If a customs hold appears, follow the instructions in the update and pay any duties requested.
