4PX Express

Arrival to the destination airport

4PX Express tracking parcel

What this status means

4PX Express records this message when the flight carrying your parcel has landed at the airport in the destination country. The parcel has finished its main long-distance leg. It is still at the airport or in the airline's cargo area, not yet with a local carrier. Most often the previous step was "Departure from the original airport".

Is my package delayed?

No. This message by itself is normal and is a sign of progress. A delay is only likely if the next update takes noticeably longer than the previous steps, which is most often down to customs processing at the airport.

What happens next

The parcel usually goes into import handling. The most common next updates are:

  • A customs clearance agent receiving the shipment (about a quarter of cases)
  • Release from customs, shown as "customs cleared"
  • Import customs clearance starting
  • Arrival at a warehouse or transit hub

What you can do

  • Wait and keep checking. Customs and handover steps often appear a little after the landing scan.
  • If a customs step stays unchanged for longer than the earlier stages took, contact 4PX Express or the seller and give them your tracking number and order details.
  • If customs asks for duties, taxes or extra documents, these are usually payable or provided before the parcel is released. Check the amount and who is asking before you pay.
  • Make sure the delivery address and phone number on your order are correct.
