What this status means
Aliexpress Standard Shipping has flagged an item in your parcel as containing a battery, which is restricted on many shipping routes. The parcel is still in the courier's sorting network, usually right after it was scanned into a sorting center. The flag comes from a security or compliance check, not from the destination's customs office.
Is my package delayed?
This message is an exception, but it does not always mean a problem. It marks a restriction check. In most cases the next scan is "Outbound in sorting center" (58%), which means the parcel was cleared to continue. In a smaller share of cases it is rerouted or sent back to an earlier step, and that can take longer than the previous steps. A refusal or return is possible, so nothing is guaranteed.
What happens next
- Most often, the parcel leaves the sorting center and moves on.
- Sometimes it is scanned into a sorting center again, or shows an earlier status such as "Accepted by carrier".
- Less often, you may see a further battery notice or a rerouting after a second security check.

- Wait and keep checking the tracking history for a new scan.
- If the status does not change for longer than the earlier steps did, message the seller through the marketplace.
- Have your order number and tracking number ready.
- If the parcel is returned or cancelled, ask the seller for a refund or reshipment by another method.
