What this status means
Aliexpress Standard Shipping has passed your parcel to the delivery company that handles the final leg in your country, and that company did not accept it at that moment. The parcel is between the international transport stage and local delivery. It is usually at a handover point or sorting facility, not at your address. The message reports a failed handover, not a lost parcel.
Is my package delayed?
This message is an exception, but it often clears up. In about half of cases the next update is a warehouse processing scan, and in about two fifths it is "Received by local delivery company", meaning the handover worked on a later attempt. A return-related message follows only rarely. Expect a pause that is longer than the previous steps, but this line alone does not mean the parcel is lost.
What happens next
- Most often the parcel is processed at a warehouse and the handover is retried.
- Or the local delivery company confirms it has received the parcel.
- Later you should see an acceptance scan, then delivery updates.
- In rare cases the parcel is sent back toward a sorting center.
