Aliexpress Standard Shipping

Hand over for line-haul transportation

Aliexpress Standard Shipping tracking parcel

What this status means

Aliexpress Standard Shipping has passed your parcel from one facility to the next leg of its journey. "Line-haul" means long-distance transport between hubs, usually by truck, and sometimes by air or rail. The parcel is between sorting centers, not at your door and not at a local depot yet. It can appear at several points on the route, including inside the destination country.

Is my package delayed?

On its own, this message is normal. It is a routine handover and not an exception or a sign of a problem. Whether there is a delay depends on what follows. If the next scan takes longer than the previous steps did, the parcel may be held up in transit, but this line alone does not show that.

What happens next

The parcel is usually scanned at the next facility. Most often that is an outbound scan at a sorting center (about 29%) or an inbound scan at another one (about 17%). In about 15% of cases the next step is receipt by a local delivery company, and in about 12% the parcel reaches a pick-up point and is ready for collection.

What you can do

  • Wait and check the tracking history again later. Scans can be uneven while a parcel is on a long leg.
  • If there is no new scan for longer than usual, contact the seller or marketplace and ask them to query the parcel with the courier.
  • Have your tracking number and order details ready when you write.
  • If a pick-up point is named later, collect the parcel within the stated deadline.
