A UPS driver tried to deliver the parcel to a business address, but the business was closed. The parcel was not handed over. UPS has moved the delivery to the next business day. The parcel is usually back at a UPS facility or in the UPS network, not lost.
This is a delivery exception, so the parcel has missed its first delivery attempt. The cause is ordinary: the address was closed at the time of the visit. Delays are usually short, but a closed address can repeat the problem. Nothing is guaranteed.
In most cases, about three quarters, the next step is "Processing at UPS Facility", as the parcel is sorted again for a new attempt. In about one in five cases the next line is "On the Way, Processing at UPS Facility". After that you should see a new out-for-delivery scan on the next business day. A repeated closed-business message means the second attempt also failed.
