What this status means
The parcel has reached the local delivery station that serves your area. This is the last facility before the courier's own delivery round. The message is a scan made when the parcel is unloaded and checked in. It is usually the final stop after the regional hub and the long-distance transport.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is a sign of progress. It is not an exception. A delay only becomes likely if the parcel stays at this step for much longer than it spent at the previous steps.
What happens next
Almost always, in about 94 out of 100 cases, the next update is "Out for Delivery". That means the parcel has been sorted onto a local route and a driver is taking it to your address. Occasionally the parcel is moved on to another facility or scanned again first.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking. The next update should show the parcel going out for delivery.
- Make sure your address, apartment number and phone number are correct, and that the driver can reach the door or building.
- If the status does not change for longer than the earlier steps did, contact the seller or marketplace first.
- Have your tracking number and order details ready when you write to the seller or the courier.
