What this status means
The collection point assigned to your parcel has been changed. The parcel is still moving through the Aliexpress Standard Shipping network, but it will now be delivered to a different pick-up point than the one first chosen. The most common reason is that the original parcel locker or pick-up point was full, and the order is redirected to another one nearby.
Is my package delayed?
This message by itself is normal, not a sign of loss. It can add a step, because the parcel may need to be sent on to the new point. Whether that costs extra time depends on the distance between the two points, so a longer wait than the previous steps is possible.
What happens next
Most often the parcel is handed over for onward transport to the new point (about a third of cases). In nearly as many cases it has already reached a pick-up point and shows "Arrived at pick-up point. Package available for collection". Less often it passes through another sorting center first, or is marked as collected at the pick-up point.
What you can do
- Check the order in the Aliexpress app or account for the address of the new pick-up point.
- Wait for the "available for collection" message before going to collect it.
- Bring your ID and the pick-up code or order details when you collect it.
- If the parcel does not move for longer than usual, or the new point is unsuitable, contact the seller or Aliexpress support with your tracking number and order number.
