What this status means
Aliexpress Standard Shipping has flagged a problem with the recipient details on the parcel: the name, address, phone number or an ID field is wrong, missing or can't be read. The parcel is somewhere between the seller and your door, often at a transport hub or in customs, and the courier needs corrected details before it can move on smoothly.
Is my package delayed?
This message is an exception, not a normal routine scan. It does not always mean the parcel is stuck. In many cases the next update is an ordinary movement, such as export customs clearance starting, the parcel leaving the departure country, or import customs clearance finishing. Still, if the details really are wrong, the parcel can take longer than the previous steps or fail to be delivered.
What happens next
- Most often the parcel carries on: export clearance, departure from the origin country, or import clearance.
- Sometimes a "data updated" scan follows, meaning the details were corrected or reviewed.
- If the problem isn't resolved, the parcel may stall or be held until the details are fixed.
What you can do
- Keep checking the tracking history for a few updates before acting.
- Open your order and compare the shipping details with your real ones: full name, street, apartment number, postcode, phone, and any tax or ID number your country requires.
- If anything is wrong or missing, contact the seller through the marketplace and ask them to correct it. Have your tracking number and order details ready.
- If the details are correct and the parcel stops moving for longer than usual, open a dispute or ask the courier for help.
