UPS could not use the delivery service chosen when the label was created, because that service does not reach your address. UPS has moved the parcel to a different service level that does. The parcel is in the UPS network and is being rerouted, not lost.
This message is an exception, not a routine scan. The text itself says the change has delayed delivery, so the original delivery estimate may no longer hold. The upgrade is meant to get the parcel to you, but it does not guarantee a new date.
The parcel should continue through the UPS network under the new service level. Expect new scans as it moves on, followed by an out-for-delivery scan on the final leg. The tracking page may show an updated delivery date once the new service is applied.
