UPS has selected your parcel for an x-ray inspection, which is a security or customs screening. The parcel is inside a UPS facility, usually while moving between sorting hubs or crossing a border. The message is a notice that this extra step is needed and may add time. It does not say anything is wrong with the contents.
This message is a warning of a possible delay rather than a problem in itself. Screening is a routine check, and the parcel usually carries on afterwards. The inspection step can take longer than the previous steps, so a pause in tracking updates is not unusual. It is not a sign that the parcel is lost or has been refused.
Once screening is finished, the parcel goes back into the normal flow. Most often the next update is "Arrived at Facility" (about half of cases), followed by "Warehouse Scan" (about one in four). Less often you will see "Departed from Facility" or, for international parcels, "Import Scan" as it clears the border.
