UPS has recorded that import charges, such as duties, taxes or fees, are due on this international parcel. "Import C.O.D." means the charges must be paid by the recipient before delivery. The parcel is in the UPS network, usually at a facility in or near the destination country, and UPS expects you to pay online at ups.com.
This message by itself is not a fault, but it is an exception that needs action from you. Until the charges are paid or billed, the parcel may be held or move more slowly than the previous steps. Once payment is settled, tracking usually continues.
After payment, the most common next entry is a routine scan such as "Warehouse Scan", followed by an import scan or a departure from the facility as the parcel moves toward delivery. In some cases UPS instead contacts the sender or the receiver about the delivery. The tracking history may also show a line saying the charges have been paid or billed.
