The UPS driver reached the address but could not find the recipient's name in the building's directory or buzzer list. This usually happens at apartment blocks, offices or shared buildings. The parcel is still on the delivery vehicle or has been returned to the local UPS facility, and UPS is trying to correct the delivery details.
This is an exception, not a routine step. The delivery attempt did not succeed, so the parcel will arrive later than first planned. It does not mean the parcel is lost or being returned, but it needs the address issue sorted out first.
UPS will try to confirm the recipient's details and reschedule the delivery. The tracking page should then show a new delivery attempt. If UPS cannot resolve the problem, it may contact you or the sender, or hold the parcel at the local facility.
